It is only natural that a human is born to wish
He loves this world so much that he becomes selfish
For his needs he knows to work, he tirelessly fights
He learns to safeguard himself, memorises all his rights
He forgets that his purpose in this world is a real test
The struggle with his Nafs is undoubtedly the greatest
He develops a tendency to shed off his responsibilities
Focussing on his rights, he inadvertently sidelines his duties
In his show of wisdom and power, he truly has no clue
Duties are his doorway to Jannah, if only he knew!
For another would be held There, if his rights here are violated
But his trial would be a difficult one if the duties are neglected!
